ST MARGARETS FAIR 2024 MUSIC STAGE
This year we’ll be having our own Latin block party right here at St Margarets Fair! London’s salsa sensation and headline band Orquesta Mambarito will be setting Moor Mead Park alight with salsa and infectious Latin Caribbean grooves. It’s gonna get hot whatever the weather!
Throughout the day we will have local bands playing something for everyone. From country, blues and skiffle to Bengali-rock, to classic uplifting pop and rock covers. Musicians of all ages will take to the stage bringing us a full day of music and family fun.

Headline Band
Orquesta Mambarito
Burning up red-hot classics from 70’s New York, Colombia, Puerto Rico and beyond The 13-strong group has a classic salsa line-up of trumpets, trombones, baritone sax and full Afro-Cuban rhythm section. Get your sunglasses on and dress to impress - this is one party you don’t want to miss!
Local Bands
The Eel Pie Two
Luther slaps his bass and Buddy twangs guitars. The Eel Pie Two play rockabilly, rock 'n' roll, country, blues and skiffle with a touch of jazz. If you like Elvis, Lonnie Donegan, Johnny Cash, Buddy Holly, Eddie, Gene and 1950s vintage music then you’ll love The Eel Pie Two!
Grizzlee
Grizzlee is a five piece alt-rock band from the Twickenham area. Born out of a local open mic night, the band brings together jazz drums, funky bass lines, classic rock guitars and rap fusion with the lyrics that create anthem like choruses. From starting playing gigs in our local area to now being booked to play on the London scene this is a band that’s tipped to go places.
Sparkles
Love uplifting popular rock covers? Fast tempo, strong guitar riffs and catchy lyrics? Then the Sparkles have you covered! Grab a drink and head to the stage to dance and sing along with our own Isleworth band that will be playing high energy classics spanning the 60s to present day.
Compound Radius
Compound Radius is an alternative rock ensemble from Hounslow, London, fronted by lead guitarist and vocalist, Radius. Their music is a distinctive fusion of many musical genres presenting a fresh perspective on modern rock. Compound Radius describe their music as being a blend of English, Bengali, and Sanskrit breaking cultural barriers.
Youth Bands
Powerjam Band Project
Powerjam Band Project is a local not-for-profit rock & pop school plus!! where young musicians (ages 9-18) can join a band, rehearse weekly, gig regularly, and professionally record and release songs through the Powerjam label which allows all young musicians to retain full copyrights. Powerjam bands represented the UK at the NYC International Teen Band Festival for 2 years in a row! www.powerjambands.com IG: @powerjam_band_project
Handful of Nothing
First up on the music stage is Handful of Nothing, a new band from Twickenham supported by local music charity The Basement Door. Formed in April 2023 their gigs have been well attended and enjoyed by crowds for their cover versions by bands like Arctic Monkeys to Green Day as well as their own original tracks which will be played live on stage.
